Who We Are

The SOCIAL-Tx is a multi-centered, investigator-initiated study being conducted by researchers from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), Seattle Children's Hospital, Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center (CCHMC), UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, Children's Healthcare of Atlanta - Emory Healthcare, and Stanford Children's Health. These researchers are collecting data on pediatric liver transplant recipients to assess for the social determinants of health and the impact of social risk on outcomes after transplant.

 

Dr. Sharad Wadhwani from UCSF is the Principal Investigator of the SOCIAL-Tx study.
